The iPad Air 2020 is capable of charging at a faster rate than its included wall charger allows. The iPad Air 2020 can support up to 30W but includes an 18W USB-C charger. Here I list the best fast chargers for the iPad Air 2020. Each capable of meeting their full charge rate. With some being smaller, cheaper, and/or more travel friendly than the charger Apple included.

USB-C to USB-C Cable
The iPad Air 2020 will need to use a USB-C to USB-C cable to connect with a USB-C PD charger. Such a cable is included. But you may want to buy a new one to keep with your new charger.
Find a good selection of USB-C cables here. Stick with USB 2.0 cables. They offer as fast a charge rate at a lower cost.

Review of the Anker PowerPort Atom PD 1
Apple's own 30W USB-C PD charger, which replaced their 29W model. Using Apple's own charger would lessen any support issues. But it is also the largest and most expensive option on this list.

One Charger To Rule Them All
A promise of USB-C is the ability for one charger to handle all your devices, big or small. This charger goes up to 65W in output. Making it compatible with the iPad Air 2020, as well as the iPhone (or many Androids) and your MacBook laptop.
My favorite one charger fits all option. It has the output to support phones, tablets, and all but the largest laptops. It is not much larger than the 30W chargers listed above. All while priced closer to a phone charger, with a USB-C cable included.
- Ports: USB-C
- Output: 65W USB-C PD
- Includes USB-C to USB-C cable
- Size: 2 x 2 x 1.1 in | 3.4 oz
