October saw the release of Super Mario Party and Dark Souls for the Nintendo Switch. A leak of the roster for Super Smash Bros Ultimate. And we got one month closer to the release of Pokémon: Let’s Go.

Here are the best selling chargers and power banks from that same month.

Best Selling USB-C Wall Chargers on Amazon

Apple 12W USB Power AdapterReview

  • Speed Rating: Good
  • Safety Rating: Nintendo Suggested

Not a USB-C charger, but it acts like one with the Switch. It is the only single port USB-A charger known to output more than the Switch uses. So it can keep up with long gaming hours. You’ll need to buy a separate USB-C to USB-A cable.

Anker PowerPort II PDReview

  • Speed Rating: Great
  • Safety Rating: USB-IF Certified

My go to travel charger. During October it handle a 48 hour trip to two cities, keeping two iPhones, a Switch, and a power bank topped off. You’ll need to buy a separate USB-C to USB-C cable.

Anker PowerPort Speed 1 USB-CReview

  • Speed Rating: Great
  • Safety Rating: USB-IF Certified

Anker’s popular single port USB-C charger. I posted my own review of the charger this month. It did well as a second charge for the Switch and can handle a USB-C laptop in a pinch. You’ll need to buy a separate USB-C to USB-C cable.

Motorola TurboPower 15 USB-C Fast Charger

  • Speed Rating: Good
  • Safety Rating: Safe

Designed for Motorola USB-C phones, it was an early favorite of Switch owners. But its wall wort design and built-in cable don’t make it travel friendly. And for the same price you can get a faster USB-C PD charger.

Anker PowerPort Speed PD 5

  • Speed Rating: Great
  • Safety Rating: USB-IF Certified

Anker’s 5 port desktop charging will keep your Switch charged during gameplay. As well as your phone, tablet, headphones, your friend’s phone, etc. It’ll handle smaller USB-C laptops fine. You’ll need to buy a separate USB-C to USB-C cable.

Best Selling USB-C Car Chargers on Amazon

Most people still prefer USB-A or Lightning for their car charging needs. Those are enough to keep phones charged. The Switch needs more power to stay charged up for hours. And it’ll help keep the kids in the backseat entertained.

Nekteck 5.4A USB-C Car Charger

  • Speed Rating: Good
  • Safety Rating: USB-IF Certified

Nekteck’s regular USB-C car charger meets the news of most USB-C owners. It is fast enough to charge the Switch while you play, if slower than other options. Its USB-A port will charge phones at the same time. Be aware of its built-in, 3.3 foot USB-C cable. Make sure it’ll reach where you need it to.

Anker PowerDrive Speed+ 2Review

  • Speed Rating: Great
  • Safety Rating: USB-IF Certified

Also reviewed in October, Anker’s car charger will fast charge a Switch and most phones at the same time. You’ll need to buy a separate USB-C to USB-C cable. But that allows you to measure and get one to reach where you need it.

Best Selling USB-C Power Banks on Amazon

Few USB-C power banks are hitting the top 50 of power bank sales. Too many cheaper USB-A options, too few USB-C users. But when USB-C owners buy, they buy big.

Anker PowerCore+ 26800 PD w/PowerPort Speed 1 USB-C

  • Speed Rating: Great
  • Safety Rating: Safe

This is about as big as power banks come. Any bigger and you’ll need to check with your airline to see if it is allowed on the plane. It’ll charge the Switch while you play, and will give you at least 11 extra hours of game time. The included Anker charger (also a best seller) will charge the power bank and Switch equally well. Review coming soon.

AUKEY PB-Y14 20000 USB-CReview

  • Speed Rating: Good
  • Safety Rating: Safe

Big is nice, but big and cheap are better. AUKEY offers this regular USB-C power bank with large capacity. What you lose in charge speed (still enough to keep up with your gaming) you get back in dollars saved. You’ll need to buy a separate USB-C to USB-C cable.

RAVPower Ace 26800

  • Speed Rating: Good
  • Safety Rating: Safe

Once again big and cheap at the cost of slower charge. This approaches FAA limits on battery sizes for batteries. It’ll keep you playing for an extra 12 hours. You’ll need to buy a separate USB-C to USB-C cable. Review coming soon.

RAVPower Turbo 20100

  • Speed Rating: Good
  • Safety Rating: Safe

Not as good of a deal as the 20,000mAh AUKEY above, but still a solid and good sized power bank for your Switch and other small devices. You’ll need to buy a separate USB-C to USB-C cable.

Omars 10000 USB-C PD

  • Speed Rating: Great*
  • Safety Rating: Safe

Omars is an established brand new to the USB-C power bank market. This is one of their two models. It is a small and cheap USB-C PD power bank. It doesn’t offer more than 12V/1.5A output, which the Switch underdraws. So it won’t charge the Switch as quickly as most other USB-C PD power banks. But it is faster than regular USB-C. The attraction are its size and cost relative to its performance.
